Noida is a planned transit-oriented-development based greenfield city on South-west side of New Delhi. Most of the roads in Noida are 6-lane roads with pedestrian paths and tree lining on shoulders which makes it one of the greenest cities in India with almost 50% green cover. Noida Expressway runs through the city and is a beautiful 6-lane transit route which originates from a clover leaf intersection at New Delhi and connects Agra. Noida is well connected by Delhi Metro and has city’s own Noida Metro rail network. Noida International Airport operation has been awarded to “Zurich Airport Group” and is planned to be operational by 2023. Noida has a dedicated 8.25-hectare area named “Film City” in Sector 16A which hosts almost every national news channel in India making it a vibrant media hotspot. Initially built as the largest planned industrial township in Asia, Noida eventually grew into a technology hotspot due to excellent infrastructure and quality talent pool such that it has world’s largest mobile phone manufacturing plant by Samsung, HCL headquartered campus and India’s largest unicorn – PayTM’s headquarter. A total of 310-acre land parcel along Noida Expressway is dedicated as Special Economic Zone which is growth turf for telecom, tech, manufacturing and IT/ITeS. Noida is home to many of Delhi-NCR’s tallest landmarks like Supernova and Wave-One. Housing in Noida is differentiated between group housing and plotted housing due to which the city is home to numerous high-rise apartment buildings, row housing and independent bungalows. Noida not only has the only professional racing circuit “Buddh International Circuit” of India but also hosts a state-operated golf course on a major arterial road. The city is home to India’s largest mall “DLF Mall of India” which is surrounded by a retail hotspot consisting of malls, F&B outlets and shops.
