The Bradfield Centre

A community of collaborative technology start-ups and scale-ups housed in a stunning building at the heart of the Cambridge Science Park. The centre is designed to appeal to entrepreneurs, researchers and students, and is home to innovative high growth start-up and scale-up businesses. The centre is visually stunning, overlooking a lake and featuring its own bar. It also houses a lecture theatre, a beautiful café, a Yoga room and showers. Flexible lease structures enable your business to expand over time, whilst only ever paying for what you need. Only one month’s notice required to enable maximum tenant flexibility. 

With facilities designed to accelerate businesses to new levels, the aim is to attract smart, ambitious, like-minded entrepreneurs and companies from both Cambridge and around the world; co-locate them in scalable, state-of-the-art facilities; immerse them in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture; and connect them to investors, partners, mentors, advisers and potential customers. Accelerator programmes are run on a wide range of business and technical topics. These are a core component of the centre’s offer which is designed with one goal in mind – to help grow Cambridge-based businesses to a large- scale. 

Location 

This business centre is easily accessible by car, train, bus or bike. It is served by two train stations, Cambridge (20-25 minutes by car), and Cambridge North (5 minutes by car, 10 mins by bike, or a 20-minute walk). Eight Bike & Go Bikes are available at Cambridge North Station. 

There is a free shuttle service to the Cambridge Science Park from Cambridge North Station during morning and evening peak times or you can use Busway N. 

There are 288 bicycle racks at the centre, and we’re an official Ofo bike sharing location. Shower facilities are also available for members. Eight Bike & Go Bikes are also available at Cambridge North Station.
