What are the different types of private offices?

Serviced office space

Renting a private office on a serviced basis provides a fully furnished space that’s ready-to-use. Everyday facilities such as cleaning, broadband and a reception will already be included, ensuring a smooth transition when you move in. Term lengths are generally more flexible with serviced office spaces too, ranging from a few months to a couple of years.

Managed office space

Managed private office space is a hybrid between a serviced office and conventional lease. In some cases, managed offices spaces can be a blank canvas, giving businesses the ability to fully fit-out and customise the space as per their requirements, often at an additional cost; this can sometimes be negotiated into the terms of the lease.

Compared with a serviced office space in which terms are signed directly with the operator, with managed offices, the lease is either signed directly with the landlord or through the operator. Managed private offices are ideal for larger teams who are looking for a slightly longer commitment, as lease lengths start from 12 months and range up to 5 years.
