With public transport you can easily travel via Schiphol Airport. There are several bus connections, including the fast bus Zuidtangent between Haarlem and Amsterdam. This is a very fast bus connection on an open bus lane between Haarlem, Schiphol, Hoofddorp and Amsterdam.
