Workthere is a trading style of Savills plc. On the site, “Savills”, “our” and “we” means all the UK companies in the Savills plc Group and also includes Workthere. Any reference to “you” or “your” refers to anyone whose personal information we process.

Savills is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Notice explains how we use the information we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

1. What personal information do we collect and how do we use it?

When you register with our Workthere website in order to view or list office space via the website, receive our research reports or make another inquiry, we need to know your name, e-mail address, and contact telephone numbers, sectors in which you are interested and geographic regions of interest.

We gather this information to allow us to process your registration and provide you with the office space information, research reports and other information requested by you.

From time to time we may provide your information to our customer service agencies for research and analysis purposes so that we can monitor and improve the services we provide. We or our agents and sub-contractors may contact you by post, e-mail or telephone to ask you for your feedback and comments on our services.

On registration you may have indicated that you were happy to be contacted by our group of companies with information about special features of this website or any other service or products which we think may be of interest to you. 2. How we protect your information

5. Lawful basis for processing for EU residents

Under data protection legislation in the EU, we are only permitted to use the personal information of EU residents if we have a legal basis for doing so. We rely on the following legal bases to use your information:

  • Processing that is necessary to improve our knowledge of the real estate sector – this will include undertaking market analysis and research so that we better understand trends in the property sector and provide better knowledge along with more tailored and relevant services for our customers in the future.
  • Processing necessary for us to operate the administrative and technical aspects of our business efficiently and effectively – this will include: verifying the accuracy of information that we hold about you and create a better understanding of you as a customer; processing for administrative efficiency purposes such as where we outsource certain administrative functions to third parties who are in such services; processing for network and information security purposes i.e. in order for us to take steps to protect your information against loss, damage, theft or unauthorized access or to comply with a request from you in connection with the exercise of any of your rights outlined below.

  • Where we need to protect your interests (or someone else's interests).
  • Where it is needed in the public interest or for official purposes.

6. Updating your details

If any of the information that you have provided to Savills changes, for example if you change your e-mail address, name or payment details or if you wish to cancel your registration, please let us know the correct details by sending an e-mail to dataprivacy@savills.us.

7. Your rights in relation to your personal information

If you are a resident of the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information, these include the right to:

• Obtain access to your personal information that we hold

  • If Savills is continuing to process personal information beyond the period when it is necessary to do so for the purpose for which it was originally collected

  • If Savills is relying on legitimate interests as the legal basis for processing and you object to this processing and there is no overriding compelling ground which enables us continue with the processing

  • personal information is inaccurate
  • our processing of your personal information is unlawful

We may allow third-party companies to serve ads and collect certain information when you visit this website. 10. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for users who are 13 years old or older.  We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records.
