With its dazzling Old Town in Gdańsk, the longest European pier in Sopot and the Open’er Music Festival, bringing the leading global music stars to Gdynia, the Tricity creates a unique atmosphere. It also offers one of the leading markets for office space in Poland – that has already been recognized by international companies.

Four reasons to rent an office in Tricity

  1. It is a very happy place. All three cities of the Metropolitan Area of the Tricity are leaders in the life satisfaction surveys.
  2. The Tricity has been valued for its ample resources of well-qualified staff.
  3. This is one of the most important locations in Poland for the sector of modern business services. The centres based in the Tricity account for approx. 28 thousand jobs, with nearly 40% of the employees working for the US companies.
  4. Transport is a strength of the Tricity – both within and outside the agglomeration. The Lech Wałęsa Airport Gdańsk-Rębiechowo is one of the three most important international airports in Poland, apart from Warsaw and Kraków.

Gdańsk (the Tricity)

What does this area have to offer?

From the report on the quality of life of the European Commission (Quality of life in European Cities, 2020), there are only two cities in Europe – Copenhagen and Stockholm – that score over it in terms of the residents’ life satisfaction. The residents of Gdańsk highly value its cultural and sports facilities, green areas and the quality of public space, as well as transport and safety within the city. Gdańsk is an old port city – being always open to the rest of the world. It was a meeting point of different nationalities, cultures, religions and languages. It has not lost its character entirely, as it is continuously viewed as a cosmopolitan and European city.

What companies does it attract?

The capital city of the voivodeship has been attracting foreign investments for years now. The companies that have decided to launch their centres of modern business services include Amazon Development Center, Bayer, Ricoh, Sii, Swarovski Global Business Services and Thyssenkrupp, etc. In the entire Tricity, there are as many as 158 service centres with nearly 28 thousand employees.

Transport connections

Gdańsk is the largest Polish seaport and one of the largest ones in the Baltic Sea. In 2020, the volume of transhipment operations exceeded 48 million tonnes of goods. The region hosts the international Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdańsk which offers connections with all the most important airports in Europe. The A1 motorway running south and railways provide for a convenient connection between Gdańsk and the rest of the country. It takes approx. 3.5 hours to get to Warsaw, and there are around 17 connections on this route every day.
