The district, located along the Rhein, also invites visitors to stroll along the Rheinboulevard on the Deutz Promenade, and the "Stairs by the Rhein" are a hotspot for social gatherings, as is the Rheinpark.
Deutz is very well-connected to public transport due to its many subway and S-Bahn stations. Cologne's main train station is also only a few minutes away.
