179 Great Portland Street was built in 1913 for Smiths Industries. The building was opened to make the first ever Speedometer for the motor car. The well-known architects Stiff & Trevillion are working hard to restore it’s original character to the building. Expect a combination of industrial/contemporary style mixed with vintage/modern furniture and lighting.
The building is within walking distance of Great Portland Street tube as well as a 5 minute walk to Oxford Street for those who like to shop. The building has private office space, large lounge space and meeting rooms.
