During the latter part of 2020, Savills surveyed asset managers and developers to gauge their views and attitudes towards the flexible workspace sector.

The survey found that 83% of respondents are neutral or higher, in terms of positive sentiment towards the sector and 3/4 expect their tenants to require more flexible lease terms. Another key result is the fact that 29% would “like to” or “are planning to” operate their own brand, and a third of the respondents also consider the presence of an operator as a “nice to have”.
